Chairman of the Supreme Council of the Autonomous Republic of Abkhazia Elguja (Gia) Gvazava made conversation on several issues:

- So this is the position of the Kremlin. Separatist Abkhazia voiced that ordered from Moscow. It would be benefit for Abkhazian receiving neutral Abkhaz passports which is prohibited by Russia. But it is nothing, as they say, the water in a sieve cannot be kept. Abkhazians are individually take advantage of this blessing, just as before enjoying the privileges of coming to Tbilisi.
"I am sure that when another president, and not Saakashvili, Georgia would have been different, and we would have every opportunity to reach an agreement. Political issues on a personal level are at least ironic. We do not live in the feudal era, when the policy was based exclusively on the interests of heirs to the throne. Like it or not, we must consider the opinion of the people, should respect the choice of the population that voted in favor of a particular policy. This is the base of civilized politic.
Surprisingly that Chirikba trusts to Alasania who in the recent past was special representative of President Saakashvili in the Georgian-Abkhaz talks and not to the president.
- This is the argument of the Kremlin, which once again announce the de facto government of Abkhazia. Have to be some reason for the collapse of the talks? Just as it is in the proverb “Wolf and Climb” – for reason it is enough that I want to gorge you.
Recently, one Abkhaz website was published an article of Beslan Kobakhia, in which he talks about the possibilities of establishing the Georgian-Abkhaz relations and proposes a plan of settlement consist of 6 points. The first three points involve the recognition of the outbreak of war in Abkhazia, crime and criminal cases against those who made the decision about its beginning, and the remaining three items relate to the recognition of Georgia, Abkhazia, after which, in his opinion, may restore interstate relations between Georgia and Abkhazia.
- I agree with him only in that it requires to judged those who really started the fratricidal war in Abkhazia, which was drawn into a peaceful Georgian and Abkhazian people, those who managed the chaos dictated by the Kremlin, who is of course alive today and well residence in Krtsanisi and also his supporters, too... But what to do with the events that took place in 1989, when there were not tanks in Abkhazia but blood was spilled... What to do with the letters of Lyhny and anti-Georgian activities of "Aidgilara"? Do you have to close your eyes and be objective till the end? In any case need a deep and unbiased, professional analysis of the events of that period, and most importantly, to assess Russia's role in all this. After exclusion of Abkhazia from Georgia did not happen for a year or two, Russia was preparing for a long time for this. This is the whole era... We, the residents of Abkhazia are well aware of this in addition, the historical documents confirm this. Take for example the famous plan of Suslov, who submitted to the Central Committee of the USSR, "Not today, but tomorrow Georgians will fight against communism, for independence. The fight against Georgian needs to start with Abkhazia. Samegrelo and Svaneti, should be given autonomy. They alone should spark parochial, national feelings. It is necessary to convince everyone that Georgians settled in Abkhazia. West Georgia should oppose to the East. After that it is playing the role of a mediator". Well, what can I say?! As they say, the needs in the comments there! With regard to the following items B.Kobakhia, I would say that independence, which allegedly sought Abkhazians are not acceptable to Georgia. And here's what we offer them, that is, the widest possible autonomy, the presence in all the organs of central government, a veto over any constitutional solutions that will address Abkhazia a free economic zone - everything is God's mercy, of course, if Abkhazian really appreciate and analyze the whole situation. Personally, I saw this article a good nuance - in recent years increasingly believe the Abkhaz conflict is not to blame for all of Georgia's population, but rather the instigators and leaders of the war.
