In May of this year, one of the largest educational institutions of Europe - Catholic University of Lublin in Poland carried out a scientific conference on the theme: "The global economic crisis and development issues of Eastern European countries". To the conference from Georgia were invited Murman Kvaratskhelia - doctor of economic sciences, deputy of the Supreme Council of the A/R of Abkhazia and Nazira Kakulia Professor of Tbilisi State University, Doctor of Economics.

The report of Murman Kvaratskhelia was devoted to issues of globalization and the urgent problems related to Georgia. He briefly spoke about the essence of globalization, how it perceived trends in Georgia and was reflected as a global financial and economic crisis in our country. He said that the interest in the report was so great that the debate has continued on the next day.

However, representatives of major universities of Europe who were the participants of the conference donated the book about history of Abkhazia - "Assays from the history of Georgia. Abkhazia from ancient times till the present day” in which, there were based documentary evidence confirmed that Abkhazia from ancient times is an integral part of Georgia, but today it is occupied by the Russian Federation.
