Tragic day fall of Sukhumi is heavy feeling in the Georgian public. Especially hard feeling for refugees from Abkhazia, which still are waiting to return to their homeland. In this regard, the Supreme Council of the Autonomous Republic of Abkhazia has decided that in 2013 priority activity will conduct various events dedicated to this date.

After the end of the conflict in Abkhazia, 1992-1993, was 20 years old. In this regard, the Supreme Council to develop an implementation plan for the first part of which is March 15-16, 1993, when the Georgian side was able to successfully repel an offensive separatists and mercenaries to capture Sukhumi, developed by the Russian General Staff.

However, the Supreme Council again urges representatives of government and non-governmental sectors to update this issue at the highest level.
