On the 28th of may the center of spirituality and culture of Abkhazia was organized watching the movie "Candle light on grave of Our Savior." At the presentation were invited film's director Rezo Chkheidze, Chairman of the Supreme Council of the Autonomous Republic of Abkhazia Elguja Gvazava, Deputies of the Supreme Council and members of the public of Abkhazia.
The event was blessed by vice-chairman of the spiritual centre priest Bidzina (Gunia), after the Georgian "Mravalzhamieri" and Abkhaz "Song of Rock" began watching the movie.
After showing the film, Rezo Chkheidze told about the idea of creating this work: "The full-length feature film was shot on the similar work of Swedish author and Nobel Prize winner Selma Lagerlef. Rather than specified in the original Florence, the action develops in Georgia. The main character knows how important is to light the candle at the tomb of the Lord for his country, which should bring victory to the Fatherland".
The chairman of of the Supreme Council of Abkhazia Elguja Gvazava noticed: "The film is very skillfully, it shows the relationship between the man and God, the selfless love of country and concern for her. On the way the main character there are many obstacles, but overcoming them, he does not lose the most important - human dignity".
