On the 28th of may Chairman of the Supreme Council of the Autonomous Republic of Abkhazia Elguja Gvazava had meeting with Second Secretary Embassy of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Georgia Mr. Amirmansur Mohamad. The meeting had acquaintance character.
At an appointment were discussed the situation created around the conflict in Abkhazia, socio-economic situation of refugees and internally displaced persons and other actual issues. Farther more Chairman Elguja Gvazava briefly talked about the specifics of working of the Supreme Council of Abkhazia, its structure and legislative activity.
In turn Mr. Amirmansur Mohamad expressed his willingness, to foster better cooperation and the development of bilateral relations and combined cultural, educational and economic projects.
Elguja Gvazava thanked Amirmansur Mohamad for visiting and wished success in his future activities, and also presented the book about Abkhazia.
The meeting was held at the initiative of the Embassy of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Georgia.
