On the 18th of February Chairman of the Supreme Council of the Autonomous Republic of Abkhazia Elguja Gvazava had meeting with representative of the Embassy of the Republic of Bulgaria in Georgia Mr. Dimiter Tonev. The meeting had acquaintance character.

At an appointment were discussed the situation created around the conflict in Abkhazia, socio-economic situation of refugees and internally displaced persons and other actual issues. Farther more Chairman Elguja Gvazava briefly talked about the specifics of working of the Supreme Council of Abkhazia, its structure and legislative activity.

In turn Mr. Dimiter Tonev expressed his willingness, to foster better cooperation and the development of bilateral relations and combined cultural and educational projects.

Elguja Gvazava thanked Dimiter Tonev for visiting and wished success in his future activities.

The meeting was held at the initiative of the Embassy of the Republic of Bulgaria in Georgia.
