The special squad of the occupying forces under the leadership of Timur Shakaya and Edik Tcholaria burst into the village school of Okumi in Gali district and confiscated the Georgian textbooks with computers. In Sukhumi, in the so-called Ministry of State Security were questioned teachers and director of the school of Okumi.

This fact has commented Deputy Chairman of the Supreme Council of the Autonomous Republic of Abkhazia Tamaz Khubua: "If previously de-facto Sukhumi administration covertly showed contempt for the whole of Georgia, today is the open persecution and extermination of the Georgian trace on the territory of Abkhazia. It is surprising the passive position of the international community to what is happening".
