Tamaz Khubua: ”The international commonwealth won't allow neglect the interests of Georgia”


One of the largest world's American oil company "Exxon Mobil" and the Russian company "Rosneft" signed the contract on the strategic partnership meaning regarded the assimilating of the Barents and Black seas.  "Rosneft" is going to invest the Black Sea projects of about 55 billion dollars, besides "Rosneft" also reached the resembling agreement with the Italian company "Eni".


There is also known that "Rosneft" signed the contract with Sukhumi about geological studying of "a shelf of Abkhazia" according to which the Russian company acquired the right to carrying out the corresponding works in 2010. The contract also provides development of a network of refueling complexes and in Sukhumi has already begun construction of filling stations of "Rosneft".


As the vice-chairman of the Supreme Council of the Autonomous Republic of Abkhazia Tamaz Khubua  declaring there are not  considered interests of Georgia.


«It is clear of assimilate the natural richness of Georgia without participation of our country which is going under the project of the Russian, American and Italian oil companies and in this case the accent is made on development of the oil fields existing on the Abkhazian site which is at the same time the territorial waters of Georgia. The USA and Europe support the sovereignty and territorial integrity of our country and therefore I appeal the international commonwealth not to allow activity including such large companies as «Exxon Mobil», in the occupied region of Georgia» - declares to T.Khubua.
