Chairman Elguja Gvazava and other representatives of the Supreme Council of the Autonomous Republic of Abkhazia together with the society of A/R of Abkhazia render manure cemeteries of the fallen heroes in the struggle for the unity of Georgia and adorned with wreath their graves.
Elguja Gvazava stated, "There has already passed four years from the date of an armed invasion of Russia in Georgia. At the same time grossly were violated universally accepted norms and principles of international law. Russia has carried out an open military aggression against Georgia. I should note that in fact this war is the continuation of ethnic cleansing of Georgians in Abkhazia. There are many parallels between the wars of 2008 and 1992-1993. As in the war in 2008 as 20 years ago in Abkhazia Russia has acted in the same scenario. She provoked a clash between the two fraternal peoples, later "enemies", and then using the many times superior military forces defeated in the unequal battle Georgian resistance. Russia daily continues its aggressive policy against Georgia, posing a threat to statehood, independence and sovereignty of country and the whole Georgian population".
